The adidas Originals Stan Smith “Oil Spill” is a slick, new colorway from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection and the latest in a flurry of recent Stan Smith releases. Picking up from last year’s similarly-themed basketball drop, the retro kicks are most noticeable for iridescent, patent leather uppers that were intended to mimic the look of crude oil, an effect that gives a nice visual punch to the design’s sleek silhouette. Adding a luxurious touch to the shoe’s build, meanwhile, is the use of Italian leather to go with off-white rubber soles.

Check the track below to listen to “Get Money” from Redlight and Raekwon. Pre-order the 36 EP via iTunes, and stay tuned for more.

Frank Ocean‘s Channel Orange standout “Pyramids” gets a bit of a makeover from Blue Sky Black Death on “Pyramids” (Frank Ocean Bootleg). The track is a decidedly wavy rework that sounds just sinister enough to play up the gangster in Frank Ocean’s lyrics and possibly make this track a good candidate for a Grand Theft Auto soundtrack. BSBD extends the floating ambience of “Pyramids” into a chopped and screwed break at the end of the track. Check the track below to listen to “Pyramids” (Frank Ocean Bootleg), and scroll down to take a look at BSBD’s upcoming tour dates.
