Biography
The Cold Crush Brothers are one of the most influential Hip-Hop groups of all times, renowned for their stage stomping performances and funky melodies. Formed by DJ Tony Tone and DJ Charlie Chase, the Cold Crush Brothers went through numerous MCs before deciding on a solid lineup around Grandmaster Caz. Grandmaster Caz is the MC that wrote Big Bank Hank’s parts for the Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight”, and still to this day has not received credit on the album. Other members of the group included: Easy AD, Almighty KG, JDL, and Money Ray. The Cold Crush Brothers set the standards for live Hip-Hop shows, and were the 1st Hip-Hop group to rock stages abroad. The Cold Crush Brothers are truly legendary in Hip-Hop history, and Hip-Hop would not be Hip-Hop without them.
