Alchemist has got the keys on this new cut called “All For It” with Roc Marciano which is the latest installment of his ongoing Craft Singles 45 single series. Listen above, and order a copy of the vinyl here.

Laurenevitch rides again. Meyhem Lauren’s new album, Piatto D’Oro, arrives today via Fool’s Gold, and unsurprisingly, he’s describing it as his best work to date. For Most People in New York, Park Avenue is a wide New York City boulevard which carries north and southbound traffic in the borough of Manhattan. For AG DA CORONER “Park Avenue” is a long time coming, the first single off his debut album that has been a life time in the making. It only made sense that the single be co-produced by his Manager, Polo Pirate (1/2 of Rolodex Propaganda) as well as feature his long time collaborator Action Bronson and the man who signed him to Man Bites Dog Records, Roc Marciano. Let this aperitif cleanse your pallet, for the main course “Sip The Nectar” will be served shortly.
Meyhem Lauren and Action Bronson get loose over a breezy, synth soaked production from Harry Fraud, with a little help from Roc Marciano and some ad libs from hype man Big Body Bes. Hear Meyhem Lauren, Action Bronson & Roc Marciano level up on “Bonus Round” above, and be sure to keep that ear to the ground for Lauren’s Piatta D’Oro, currently slated for a 2016 release via Fool’s Gold.
If you woke up today hoping to hear some filthy Hip-Hop, Cormega has a treat for your ears. The veteran Queens emcee has dropped off No Filter, a new street single produced by Marco Polo. The cinematic production, which gets an assist from DJ Skizz behind the wheels of steel, feels like an audible bank robbery, as the headliner and his guest, Roc Marciano, perform a lyrical heist. Listen above and let us know what you think of the track.
Cormega follows the “Industry” (Juice Crew Remix) with the release of “Industry” (Deluxe Remix) featuring Inspectah Deck, Roc Marciano, Sadat X and Lord Jamar. The latest rework of the Large Professor produced standout from his Mega Philosophy LP is a much more gutter take than the last, featuring verses that decry the effects of drugs, alcohol, gun toting and the trend of promoting “lust over substance” in rap. Addressing the sell-outs avowed to eroding the Culture, Cormega and his compatriots call out MC’s, major radio and more. Check the track below to listen to “Industry” (Deluxe Remix).
The Step Brothers (Alchemist & Evidence) are about to come through with their long awaited LP, Lord Steppington on January 21st via Rhymesayers. Today, we get another banger, “Mums In The Garage” featuring Action Bronson, just as dope as you’d think with that lineup. If the song title has you confused, Evidence’s explanation should do nothing to clear it up for you: “Alchemist is the best rapping producer out. He’s better than Kanye West. This is like ‘Bound 4′.”. Alchemist & Evidence handle all the production on Lord Steppington, with vocal contributions from Roc Marciano, Blu, Fashawn, Rakaa Iriscience, Oh No, Styles P, Domo Genesis, and The Whooliganz. Today we get another sample of what Sean Price and M-Phazes have been cookin’ up for their collaborative EP, Land of The Crooks. The Brooklyn rhyme barbarian and Australian beatsmith invite Long Island to the party for this new head banger, “Murdah Type Thinkin’” featuring Roc Marciano and DJ Devastate on the cuts. Land of The Crooks will be out December 17th via Coalmine Records.
When dealing with two emcee/producers as skilled and accomplished as Evidence and Alchemist, in the confines of a group, you know that competitive spirit must run deep. For the duo’s first video as the Step Brothers, “Step Masters,” EV and ALC go head to head in just about everything to see who truly is the step master. Video directed by Jason Goldwatch, ALC on the beat. Lord Steppington will be out January 21st via Rhymesayers. The LP has features from Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Blu, Fashawn, Rakaa Iriscience, Oh No, Styles P, Domo Genesis, and The Whooliganz.

For now we just have the radio rip from DJ Premier‘s Live From Headqcourterz show. As far as NY lyricists go, you won’t find a duo much better than Roc Marciano and Cormega. Pimpstead and Queensbridge connect for this Marci produced cut, “Ruff Town.” I don’t believe this is off Roc’s upcoming Marci Beaucoup LP, so enjoy the quotables off this loosie. “Beef isn’t my preference, I want green and fresh fish on blessed dishes, god willing I reflect wisdom, embodies me I represent realness”… Mega’s definitely in that ‘so nice he only has to rhyme when he feels like it’ category. Speaking of Roc and Mega, whatever happened to their super group M.A.R.S.?
For episode 15 of Karmaloop TV‘s The Butcher’s Block, Frank gets up with Roc Marciano. We’ve had all the tracks off of Reloaded on constant repeat since November, but we’ve only heard but so many words from Roc, himself. Listen as Marci explains why he tends to produce most of his own music, how he tries to match his sound with his life, working with Q-Tip and Just Blaze, shooting and editing future videos, and more. Make sure to check Marci when he comes to your town. Reloaded is out now via Decon.
The festival’s largest Hip-Hop showcase will take over Austin Music Hall on March 15th for it’s fourth consecutive year. The showcase lineup features a who’s who of rappers including Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, Roc Marciano, Pusha T, Bun B, A$AP Ferg and more. As if the lineup were not crazy enough, the showcase will double as a celebration of Mass Appeal Magazine‘s return to print as a quarterly publication with issue 52. As a general rule of thumb partygoers should plan to get there early and expect surprises. Doors at 7PM.
We got a sample of new underground Hip-Hop force CZARFACE, which is the union of Inspectah Deck and 7L & Esoteric. Their self-titled LP is set to be released on February 19th via Brick Records. Says Deck of the collab, “The industry doesn’t need another well packaged, put together ‘act,’ instead fans are once again gravitating to the seasoned vets and newcomers that are still true to the game.” The LP will have features from Ghostface, Action Bronson, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Roc Marciano, Vinnie Paz, Cappadonna, and more with production from DJ Premiere, Oh No, and more. Inspectah Deck has teamed up with underground mainstays 7L & Esoteric to form the group CZARFACE. They’ve got a project on deck that’s sure to appease rap fans from Shaolin to Boston. ”We are CZARFACE because they know our faces and they know us for being dope rhyme suppliers, like Tony Montana we are known for our balls and our word; lyrically we will conquer the world and everything in it” states Deck. Esoteric explains further, “CZARFACE is a vigilante, anti-hero character who serves as the face of the project, and his focus is on annihilating the media darlings that the mainstream caters to.” The self-titled LP will feature Ghostface KIllah, Action Bronson, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Roc Marciano, Vinnie Paz, Cappadonna & additional beats from DJ Premier & Oh No. Listen to the first leak “Cement 3′s” featuring Roc Marciano.
It looks like Roc Marciano‘s highly anticipated LP, Reloaded, caught that early drip drop, but that’s not stopping Marci from blessing the fans with more of these loosie non album cuts. For the latest one, he hits us with his Just Blaze collabo, “Stop Me.” Straight pimpery on this one. Make sure you show that support and cop Reloaded on Tuesday.
