If you’ve followed Statik Selektah’s career, you’re well aware that consistency is one of his strongest qualities. It’s why the veteran producer from Massachusetts can drop seven albums in less than a decade and still be on top of his game. “Beautiful Life,” the first single off Lucky 7 finds Statik linking up with two of his closest rap pals, Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$. The record features Statik’s signature throwback production and a funky melody that will have you doing a mean two-step. Statik Selektah’s Lucky 7 drops July 7 on Showoff Records/Duck Down Music Inc. The full tracklist can be viewed below. Along with Bronson and Bada$$, guests include Mick Jenkins, Ab-Soul, Big K.R.I.T., Rapsody, Bun B, and more.

Lucky 7 will be available for pre-order tonight at midnight. Statik already has an album release show locked in for July 6 at Santos House Party in NYC, and you can expect the producer to bring out some special guests. Tickets for that show are available here. Go support the real shit!

Gliding on strings so fat they’re reminiscent of a whale, Ea$y Money has taken flight on his new single “Go Team.” The track, which appears on his just-released debut LP The Motive of Nearly Everybody, Yo, features a lushly classic beat courtesy of Statik Selektah, and kicks off with tough, wiley bars from none other than Action Bronson. In spite of all the high-profile assists, Mr. Money keeps his hands on the reins, turning out verses that are sure to open new ears to his skills from behind the mic.

Statik Selektah, the connector of emcees, puts together another great collaboration with “Camouflage Dons” featuring Smif N Wessun and Flatbush Zombies. Smif N Wessun, the original Bucktown USA representers, share a track with the new generation of BK emcees on this one. Tek N Steele still flip that back and forth flow with the best of them but Zombie Juice and Meechy Darko more than hold their own on this one. Statik Selektah’s Extended Play LP will be out June 18th via Showoff Records/Duck Down Music.
